Part 2 was about the function of the blood and how the blood operates to keep the fleshly body alive, but we must have the sinless blood of Christ flowing in our spirits to be “born again” from above.
Paul mentioned in Romans12:4-5, For even as we have many members in one body, but all members do not have the same function, so we which are many, are one body in Christ, and each member of one another.
The Word of God teaches each believer is a member of the body of Christ by believing the gospel.
Christ’s blood is sinless and clean and flows to each member to keep them alive in Him.
The Church is not the building made with hands, but the church built by God and every member that is “Born Again” is part of the body of Jesus Christ.
A Christian becomes a member of Christ’s body and is related to Him by accepting His blood He shed on the cross as our sacrifice and saves those who believe that, making us brothers and sisters in Him.
The life of each member depends on Christ’s blood and depends on His blood completely for life, nourishment, cleansing, and growth; for “His life is in His blood.”
Each member of the “fleshly body” can be different in color; such as white members; like the teeth, black members; like the hair or the color of the eyes. They may be different in their function or different in their design, but still; they are all members of one body and united by the blood that connects to every member everywhere.
And like with the “Spiritual body of Christ, the true Church”, each member may be different in color; white, black, red or mixed and they may be different in their functions; as in their gifts and talents, and different in where they were born; like in America, Africa, Europe, Asia, etc.
Also, each member of Christ may be different where they worship; but all must be “born again” who trust in the finished work of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Head of the Body, who makes the believers; brothers and sisters by His blood. We are members of one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, white or black, kings or peasants.
God cares nothing about man-made divisions and groups. God is not interested in our self-righteous, hair-splitting, religious formulas, and organizations. He wants you to recognize the unity of the body of Christ.
The Christians business is not building denominations and converting men and women from one so-called faith to another. The business of a real member of the body of Christ is to witness the truth; “Ye must be born again”, born from above and that you are lost without accepting the work of the cross by Christ Jesus.
Being a member of the body of Christ is not just being a member of a certain denomination or going to a certain church.
Jesus said you must be “born again”, born above, born by being washed in the precious sinless blood of Christ, for you to be a member of the body of Christ.
Show me a person who is more interested in getting members for his church than winning them for Christ, and I will show you a person who does not know the unifying and purifying power of the Blood.
The blood of Christ makes us all one in Him, not in a ritual form of worship, but one in common interest; to “EXALT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST” and to love one another.
Some people are so busy defending their pet doctrines and secular views and getting church members, which prevents them from ever winning a soul for Christ.
