The First man and woman Adam and Eve, had only the best from God. However, when they accepted what Satan told them to be true, they missed the mark and sinned by disobeying God, they hid because they could see that they were naked (without God and all they once had) and became afraid, which is one of the traits of a sinner today, not wanting to admit it, but afraid and hiding from God.
When God came into the Garden, and asked Adam “Where art thou”, it wasn’t because God did not know where Adam was, but God was asking Adam,“Do you know, what condition you are in?”
God could have destroyed Adam and Eve for disobeying Him, but He came looking for them, to give them His Grace, because God is Love.
Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
God made provisions for Adam and Eve to sacrifice an animal and cover their sin with the blood for the atonement of their sin, which an animal sacrifice was used through the Old Testament to cover sins. Hebrews 9:22 without shedding of blood is no remission of sin.
But in the Old Testament, their sins were only covered. Hebrews 10:4
Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Even from the beginning, God already had “the Plan of Redemption” for all mankind to come back to Him. God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to shed His sinless blood on the cross and not cover our sins, but take away our sins for all the world.
Romans 5:8 God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His Grace.
Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, He hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
